The trouble with being so understanding is that you see others living their lives and experiencing love, while you are left heartbroken and lonely.
Imagine a scenario when the boy leaves the girl for someone else.. but because they both 'loved' the friendship so much, decides to take their hearts off and put it in the trash and make-believe that friendship could really last. Then, the boy talks about his present love, while the girl silently hurts and forces herself to smile and be happy that the boy had finally found someone whom he loves so much.
Yeah, I know, the girl is too naive and stupid to let go.. the boy is taking advantage and is somewhat 'happy' coz he gets both girls he wanted.
Let's look at it in another picture.. imagine you are the girl, and all your life you've been empty. You long for someone to finally fill in the emptiness in your heart. You long for someone who could somehow allow you to realize what love is. All your life you've been trapped into feeling inferior coz all the other girls have someone special. Then an imperfect boy arrives and he allowed you to be yourself, allowed you to treat him as a crash-test-dummy.. to love him beyond his imperfection. Finally here's someone who was loving enough to free you of your insecurities and helped you see yourself more clearly.
Then a slight twist of fate, his imperfection clouded over him, drawing him near to temptation and alas.. he did choose the other over you..
Heart shattered, hope erased.. you feel lost.. like a dream that suddenly became a nightmare.. you search for that love.. somehow you feel it still exists.. you are afraid that if ever you let go, the love would surely die.
Now, would you judge the girl by her actions.. on how stupid she was falling for the boy in the first place when he is obviously a two-timing-good-for-nothing? Would you blame the boy for finding someone who made his heart beat?
Lost.
Hurt.
I have no answers, I only wish that I be numb.
